Digital Craftsmen is delighted to join the Crown Commercial Service roster as an approved Specialist Cloud Services supplier through the UK Government’s G-Cloud 9 and Digital Outcomes and Specialists (DOS) frameworks.
The launch of G-Cloud by the Cabinet Office will broaden the range of suppliers available for the public sector market by bringing SME’s into the market place.
Simon Wilcox, Managing Director of Digital Craftsmen, said:
“We’re thrilled with the opportunity G-Cloud offers SME’s, and the way it is transforming the way public sector departments across the UK procure managed cloud services. It levels the playing field and gives businesses regardless of size the opportunity to work with government and local authorities.”
G-Cloud and DOS are UK Government frameworks which simplify the public sector procurement process by collating a pre-approved list of suppliers and technologies on the UK Government Digital Marketplace portal.
These frameworks represent the UK Government’s drive to encourage the strategic use of Cloud technology by allowing buyers transparent and cost.
Digital Craftsmen is a platform-agnostic managed cloud services company and accredited by ISO27001 for their best security practices.
The expert team is supported by virtualisation technology and ITIL processes to help the public sector manage the risks of hosting your infrastructure, applications and databases in the Cloud.
