Digital Craftsmen Limited, a Cloud hosting and Managed Services specialist company scored highly in its accreditation for the Investors in People Standard for the second time, demonstrating the company’s commitment towards their employees, providing them with the very best industry training and in developing their careers.
When Digital Craftsmen was founded by Simon Wilcox 16 years ago, he was inspired by a book by Peter McBreen which talked about Software Craftsmanship. The book put into words what he felt was missing from many technology businesses, which was a true level of expertise and ‘craftsmanship’ skills in the technology sector.
Digital Craftsmen was born from his ambition to make a difference and to be different, starting with the focus of investing in its people, and ensuring that every person has a clear career path mapped out, and with readily available access to the best in industry training to give them the skills and knowledge to become true ‘Digital Craftsmen’.
“We’re extremely proud of every person who joins our company and who shares our passion for being the best, for becoming a true craftsman in their industry. The IIP award is a recognition of the hard work and determination from the everyone in the business, and confirmation of our ambition in achieving continued excellence in industry standards.”
